Eric is a Wauconda Law enforcement officer that was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in 2007. He underwent the chemotherapy treatment to destroy the cancer cells. However, successful treatment also requires surgery to remove the main tumor. Eric has endured intensive chemotherapy and life altering surgery. He has been unable to work since his diagnosis.

Turning Point is a domestic violence agency that provides aid to women and children in Mchenry county. They offer 24-hour crisis intervention and response,emergency shelter,counseling,parenting programs, emergency food and clothing pantries and much more.
